Refrigerator Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar or artificial sweetener to taste
1 can green peas
1 can French-style green beans
1 can bean sprouts
1 c. chopped celery
1 small onion, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation

Drain peas, beans, sprouts and water chestnuts.
Mix peas, beans, sprouts, celery, water chestnuts and onion together.
Heat together salt, vinegar and sugar or sweetener.
Pour over mixed vegetables.
Place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
