Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and cheese. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to butter and cheese. Shape into small balls. Press 1/2 pecan into each ball. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for about 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
