Caramel Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Rub cookie sheet with butter or margarine.
    Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff.
    Sift the sugar and gradually add it to the beaten eggs, beating until smooth and thickened.
    Fold in the vanilla and chopped nuts. Drop the mixture with a teaspoon about 1-inch apart onto the cookie sheet.
    Bake about 10 minutes until browned.
