Custard Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. bread cubes (raisin bread is extra good)
    1 qt. milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Put bread cubes in dish. Beat eggs; add sugar, salt, vanilla, nutmeg and butter.
    Add milk and blend.
    Pour over bread cubes.
    Set baking dish in pan of warm water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 75 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serves 6 to 8.
    Serve warm or cold.
