Penuche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. cream or milk
    1/3 tsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add sugar and milk; stir until dissolved.
    Boil until the soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat. Leave undisturbed until cool.
    Beat as for chocolate fudge.
    Stir in nuts.
