Bacon-Cheese Potatoes(Serves 6 To 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large baking potatoes, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    2/3 c. butter
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. American cheese slices
Preparation
    Place potato slices in a large baking pan; cover with onion slices.
    Season with salt and pepper; dot with butter.
    Sprinkle bacon over vegetables and cover with cheese slices.
    Seal foil tightly.
    Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until potatoes are done.
