Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or 2 c.
    1 lb. sugar or 2 c.
    9 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. finely grated orange rind
    1 lb. sifted Velvet flour (4 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Sift flour 3 times.
    Add to batter in three additions.
    Stir in vanilla and orange rind.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours in 350\u00b0 oven.
