Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices bacon, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Brown bacon and drain most of grease off.
    Add onion and brown.
    Add 3 cups water, sugar, vinegar, bouillon and salt. Bring to boil.
    Blend cornstarch and cold water and add to hot mixture.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve over lettuce salad or spinach salad.
