Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. light or dark syrup
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Prepare pastry.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, salt, butter and syrup.
    Beat with rotary beater until blended.
    With a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in the pecan halves. (Do not chop them.)
    Pour into a pastry lined pan.
    Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge of pan comes out clean.
    Use an 8 or 9-inch pan.
