Birthday Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 large eggs
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco together.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix all dry ingredients together and sift.
Add flavorings. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
If you have a very hot oven at 325\u00b0, bake at 300\u00b0 until done.
Do not open door during the first hour.
