Classic Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease and flour one large or 2 small loaf pans. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Beat in vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour and salt and add all at once. Beat until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake about 90 minutes at 350\u00b0.
