Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    hickory or pecan nuts
Preparation
    Add egg to drained fruit and dry ingredients.
    Pour in well-greased pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
