Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. mayonnaise
    10 slices white bread
    butter
    3/4 c. milk
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute one stick butter or margarine, onion, pepper and mushrooms.
    Add mayonnaise when liquid is absorbed.
