Chicken Livers With Onions And Bacon - cooking recipe

1/4 lb. bacon
2 onions
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. chicken livers
Preparation

Cook bacon in large frying pan until crisp.
Drain on paper towel.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons bacon fat.
Crumble bacon. Chop onions.
Heat reserved bacon fat.
Add onions, salt and pepper.
Stir, cover and cook over medium heat until softened. Remove onions; set aside.
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Heat oil over high heat.
Toss livers in flour mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until crisp and brown outside but still slightly pink inside, about 5 minutes.
Toss the cooked livers with the bacon and onions; serve.
