Basil Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sliced green onions (include tops)
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. crushed basil
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Thaw frozen peas by pouring boiling water over them; drain. Melt butter; add onions and cook until tender but not brown.
    Stir in peas and remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until tender.
