Ingredients

1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, separated
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. melted margarine
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and flour.
Add egg yolks which are slightly beaten, buttermilk, margarine and vanilla.
Blend well.
Beat egg whites until they hold a peak.
Fold into custard mixture.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until pie is golden brown and knife inserted comes out clean.
