Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (not minute rice)
    1 can beef consomme
    2 cans water
    1 can sliced mushrooms (optional)
    1 can French onion soup
    1/2 stick butter
    pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a 2-quart casserole.
    Lightly pepper mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, stir occasionally.
