Mom'S Lebkuchens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. honey
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 tsp. anise seed
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cardamon
    1/2 tsp. fennel seed
    2 Tbsp. vinegar (cider)
    2 c. chopped almonds
    1 c. finely diced citron
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. baking soda, dissolved in a little hot water
    flour (enough to make stiff dough, but not dry; 6 c.)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Chill overnight.
    Roll out in rectangle 1/4 inch thick, no less.
    Cut with pizza cutter.
