Summer Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 (19 oz.) can chickpeas
    1 (19 oz.) can red kidney beans
    1 green pepper
    1/2 medium red onion
    2 (11 oz.) cans Mandarin orange segments, drained
    bacon bits
Preparation
    For the dressing:
    Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper.
    Set aside.
