Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 lb. 4 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1 c. nuts
    3 medium bananas, mashed (optional)
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Put in strawberries and let them dissolve.
    Fold in remaining ingredients (except sour cream). Pour 1/2 mixture in a 9 x 12-inch dish and let set in refrigerator until firm.
    Spread sour cream on top and add remaining mixture. Put in refrigerator until firm.
