Cranberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans
rind of 2 oranges, grated
1 c. raw cranberries (can chop these)
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. salad oil
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
-
Mix first 3 ingredients together.
Mix next four ingredients and add to dry ingredients.
Mix buttermilk, oil and eggs.
Add to mixture and stir until well mixed.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. While warm, pour glaze over cake.
Wrap in tinfoil.
Keep in refrigerator.
