Cheese Zucchini Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 medium zucchini, thickly sliced
1 1/2 c. shredded Havarti or Monterey Jack cheese
1 tomato, cut into wedges
Preparation

Brown meat in large skillet, stirring to break into bits. Drain.
Add onions and green pepper.
Saute several minutes to soften vegetables.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano and pepper.
Bring to a boil, stirring.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
