Canned Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Slice tomatoes as thin as you would to fry.
Pack in jar.
Pour cold water over them and add 1 teaspoon salt to each quart.
Seal and cook about 3 to 5 minutes after they start to boil.
They stay just like you put them in the jar.
Real good to fry with okra or by themselves.
