Shrimp Etouffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. celery
    5 crushed garlic cloves
    1 small can stewed tomatoes
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 c. water
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. cayenne
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. Season-All
    3 to 4 lb. peeled shrimp
    1 c. chopped green onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Make a roux, medium brown, of the first two ingredients.
    Keep stirring until brown, 20 minutes.
