Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream all ingredients but flour.
Blend with flour a little at a time.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press crisscross with a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
