Skillet Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1/2 inch thick) pork loin chops, fat trimmed
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, undrained and broken up
    4 scallions, sliced
    1/3 c. seedless golden raisins
Preparation
    In a large skillet cook pork chops over medium heat, turning once until brown on both sides.
    Remove to a plate.
    Add rice and seasonings from rice mix to skillet along with water, tomatoes and their liquid, scallions and raisins; mix well.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and place pork chops on top of rice.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
