Macaroni With Meat And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, sliced
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 pkg. macaroni, cooked
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until soft.
    Add meat and seasonings and brown lightly.
    Alternate layers of macaroni, meat and cheese in baking dish.
    Mix soup and milk; pour over cheese.
    Top with buttered crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
