Cherry Tort - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (No. 2) cans cherries
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Minute tapioca
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. bran flakes
3/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Drain cherries and pineapple and into juice, add sugar and tapioca.
Cook; cool and add fruit.
Mix like pie crust the remaining ingredients.
Put half of this mixture on bottom of pan, then the filling and remaining mixture on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Serves 20.
(Recipe easily cut in half.)
