Scandinavian Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1 small can green peas, drained
    1 can chopped pimentos, drained
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar,
    vinegar, salad oil and salt.
    Pour over the vegetables.
    Refrigerate
    in closed container at least 4 hours before serving; overnight is best.
