Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. very small okra (1 to 2-inches)
    3/4 c. plain salt
    8 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    10 cloves garlic
    10 pods small hot red or green pepper
    dill and celery seed (optional)

    Need 8 small mouth pint jars.
