Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked sausage
    6 slices bread
    1 c. cheese
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    sauteed onions, green peppers and mushrooms, etc. (optional)
Preparation
    Butter bread.
    Cut into cubes.
    Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Top with sausage (and sauteed vegetables if desired).
    Cover with cheese.
    Mix eggs, milk and salt.
    Pour over bread. Refrigerate at least 8 hours.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
