Corn Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk*
    1 plus Tbsp. melted fat or oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Heat fat or oil in 8 x 8-inch cake pan in oven.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add buttermilk.
    Stir to mix.
    Add heated oil.
    Pour immediately into heated pan.
    Bake about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
