Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh broccoli, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large, firm tomato
    mayonnaise
    cauliflower (if desired)
Preparation
    Chop broccoli into bite-sized
    pieces.\tCook
    in salted water until barely tender.
    Drain
    and
    cool.
    Chop tomato and onion; drain tomato.
    Toss onion,\ttomato\tand
    broccoli
    with enough mayonnaise to coat (about 1
    cup).\tSalt
    and pepper to taste. Cover tightly and let stand in refrigerator overnight.
