Snowy Mashed Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. potatoes (12 medium), chopped
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 clove garlic, crushed (optional)
    1/4 c. chopped chives (optional)
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water 15 minutes or until tender; drain.
    Mash with electric mixer.
    Add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and garlic.
    Beat on high speed until smooth and light.
    Stir in chopped chives.
    Spoon into lightly greased 8 to 10-cup casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until light brown and heated through.
