Dumplings With Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sauerkraut
    1 to 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook the sauerkraut, adding just enough water to barely cover, for 20 minutes.
    Mix the remaining ingredients; cook for 5 minutes with cover off and 7 minutes with cover on.
