Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 orange, juice and grated rind with enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup liquid
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
1 c. whole fresh cranberries
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients into bowl.
Add orange juice, grated rind (and water) and shortening.
Stir.
Add the beaten egg, cranberries and nuts.
Put in greased 9 x 5 x 3 -inch loaf pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
