Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. broccoli
    1 qt. chicken broth
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    7 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook broccoli in broth.
    Save the broth.
    Puree the broccoli. Melt margarine and make a paste with the flour.
    Add to broth slowly, stirring constantly.
    Add the half and half.
    Add broccoli, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Stir and heat until very hot. Makes 4 quarts.
