Angel Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (at room temperature)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. miniature chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In medium size mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff.
    Add almond extract and vanilla; mix well.
    Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto aluminum foil lined cookie sheets.
    (The kisses do not spread.)
    Place in a 350\u00b0 oven; immediately turn off oven. Let stand 8 to 10 minutes or overnight.
    Do not open oven door. Store in airtight containers ready for serving or gift giving.
