French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    splash of milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon or to taste
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of vanilla
    dash of salt
    1/3 to 1/2 loaf French or Italian bread (day-old is best)
    margarine or butter
Preparation
    In shallow bowl or nonmetal pan, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Cut bread into 1-inch slices on the diagonal to make larger slices.
    Soak bread in egg mixture until all slices are evenly coated.
