Preston County Buckwheat Cakes - cooking recipe

1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. buckwheat flour
3/4 c. white flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. hot water
evaporated milk (if necessary)
Preparation

Serve with fried potatoes, whole hot sausage, maple syrup and butter.
