Dutch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 cake household yeast or 2 dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. potato water, cooled
    2 or 3 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    flour to stiffen
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and let raise until double in size and then divide into five 9-inch round pans and let raise again until double in size.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
    Do not stick with a fork.
