Cream Of Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chicken broth
    5 c. milk
    salt to taste
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. crab meat
Preparation
    Melt butter in large pan.
    Blend in flour until smooth. Slowly stir in chicken broth and pepper; simmer for a few minutes. Add milk gradually.
    Stirring constantly, cook slowly until thickened.
    Do not boil.
    Add crab meat and salt to taste.
    Remove from heat.
    Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
