Vietnam Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1/2 c. mint chocolate chips
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. mashed bananas (2 to 3)
    1 3/4 c. rolled oats
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
    These cookies are so named because we mailed them to the GI's in Vietnam during the 1960's.
