Chicken Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-3 whole chicken breast (I have used legs/thighs too)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    2 c. grated monterrey jack cheese
    1 pkg. corn tortillas
    1 small can green chilies
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 soup can water or chicken broth
Preparation
    Cook chicken in water until tender; cut/shred into bite size pieces.
    Mix onion, chiles, soups, water/broth and garlic together with chicken in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; then remove from heat. Cut tortillas into 1 inch pie shaped pieces.
    Layer tortillas, chicken soup mixture and cheese alternately in a large casserole; continue with layers ending with cheese.
    Bake for 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven uncovered.
    Makes 6-8 servings.
