Chicken Korma - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken pieces
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. onion, finely chopped
    2 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cardamom
    2 cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. raisins
Preparation
    In a large kettle, saute onion and garlic in oil and butter. Add ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir 1 minute.
    Add chicken and brown.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
    Then cover and cook on low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add raisins and lemon juice.
    Cook for 10 more minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice.
