Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2/3 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a saucepan (medium) combine sugar, milk and corn syrup, stirring constantly.
    Cook to soft ball stage or 236\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Beat with mixer until thick. Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Cool 2 to 3 hours, then cut into squares.
