Hot Water Cornbread - cooking recipe

4 c. boiling water
2 c. self-rising cornmeal
Preparation

Add boiling water to cornmeal; be sure water is boiling. Let cornmeal mixture get cold before using. You can form patties or roll into cigar shapes. Fry in about 1-inch of oil. Fry about 4 minutes on each side.
