Skillet Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook the onion and green pepper in large skillet over medium heat.
    Stir in rice, chili powder, salt to taste, pepper, tomato sauce and water; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
