Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. scalded milk
    5 Tbsp. corn meal
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. molasses
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon or 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Add corn meal gradually to scalded milk and cook in double boiler (stirring constantly) and cool 20 minutes.
    Add oleo, molasses, seasonings and eggs.
    Turn into buttered baking dish. Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 8 servings.
