Mrs. Bennett'S Best Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) cans minced clams
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 pt. half and half
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
Preparation
    In a large pot, place potatoes, onions and celery.
    Open the cans of clams; drain juice over vegetables.
    Vegetables should be just covered.
    If more liquid is needed to cover them, add water. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer until tender.
    Add clams; bring to boil.
    Add cornstarch to half and half.
    Add this mixture to the vegetables; cut back down to a simmer.
    Add all other ingredients; stir well.
    Serves 4.
